What is a DiversaTree?
A DiversaTree represents all of humanity. If you're a human, including those who feel like aliens, you're part of humanity. You are a sentient being. The drawing has no borders or delineations between the colors because borders are restrictive, confining and defining – I'm this and you're that. It is shaped like a 'Tree' because it gives us shade from the 'hate' of the day. It has a one for the trunk of the tree showing that we all stem from the same origin and shows where we need to get back to – One World, One People. We are all diverse, meaning each of us is unique in our own way. It doesn't mean we can't be friends and talk to each other and share common goals and ideals. The apple represents the Fruit of Human Kindness. When we come together and lift each other up, we grow together, we share the fruits of Human Kindness.
What is the DiversaTree Movement?
The DiversaTree Movement is a Grassroots movement to get people talking to each other and then listening to each other. The world would be a kinder place if people would take the time to Stop, Talk and Listen. If we start by making a difference in our lives with family, friends and those we meet, we can change the world one person at a time. Imagine if we reach someone with the influence to stop a war or prevent abuse because we took the time to say hi or simply to smile. We each can make a difference if we simply take the chance to be a little kinder ourselves. Go ahead, Stop, Talk and Listen. Everyone has a story to tell, take the time to hear it and be kind in response.
Why is it IMPORTANT?
If the world were to become a little kinder, would it not make sense that there would be fewer arguments and maybe fewer wars being fought? The fruit of human kindness is peace. Together we're stronger!

Who can participate?
Anyone, any age, any gender, any origin or belief or status in life can participate in making this a better world. You don't have to be young or old, rich or poor. You can literally share your story with whom ever you would like. Then listen to their story. Stop, Talk and Listen. It's about getting to know each other, seeing that we are more alike than different. A little understanding goes a long ways towards healing a troubled relationship with a friend or the world. It starts with one and spreads to many and then to the world.
Do I have to buy anything to join the movement?
No. You only need to decide that you would like to make a difference and then begin. You choose how and what you do to help make this a better place.
If you would like to buy a t-shirt or some of the other merchandise being sold in our store, that is up to you. The more people see the symbol, the more they will know that you are someone who is open to hearing and talking to them. Part of the funds raised from the sale of these items will be used to further the purpose of making this a better world.
How do I know if I am making a difference?
You will know that you a making a difference when someone smiles back at you or you fell a bit more at ease in your own skin. The world surrounding you will fell a little bit friendlier. Kindness grows when it is nourished. The DiversaTree is about growing kindness. Kindness will make the world a better place, one person at a time, one smile at a time. One new friendship at a time. Who knows, but maybe the news will begin to seem a bit less dramatic, someday.

How to grow a DiversaTree
You start with a seed, an idea that maybe "I" can do something. Maybe all I can do is try being a little kinder or more loving. It doesn't take much, just a little desire to try. Go ahead, take the first step.
There are so many ways to start, but here a few suggestions to help get you started ...
A smile can go a long way to brightening someones dispasition. A smile can brighten even the darkest days if we share it.
A handshake can be the beginning of a new friendship. It's a sign of trust and agreement.
Volunteer to help someone in need from a friend to a total stranger. It will be appreciated and bring the world a little closer to kindness.
Volunteer in your community. There are many organizations, churches and other ways to make a difference.
If you look, you can find countless ways to serve others and share some kindness with those around you. This will produce the fruit of the DiversaTree - Human Kindness. Human Kindness goes a long way to growing stronger communities and families. We all need a little more hope and love in our lives. Share in your own way and start growing your DiversaTree.
